The 7th Annual Tour De Whatcom

Many inquire why we stagger the start times. The 105 milers leave at 7:30am and go counter clockwise. The 50 milers leave at 10am heading north. They arrive and Birch Bay rest stop about the same time as the 105 milers. Thus they can ride in together. We have many couples and friends that meet up in Birch Bay and ride in together. The 25 mile riders arrive in Ferndale about the same time the 105 & 50 mile riders are coming back. This makes it fun when riders come back together. And it helps spread out the registration process as well.

"Cycling around the rural roads of Whatcom county provides a great mixture of mountains, lakes, forest, farmlands, and Puget Sound views."
