Pledges go to Charity of your Choice!

(Pledges not required)

The 7th Annual Tour De Whatcom

Mother and Daughter on Tandem

Come join us for Tour de Whatcom, a fun charity bike ride in Whatcom County.

The rides are awesome. You get to see everything: Mt Baker, Lake Whatcom, valleys, rivers, lush farmland, beaches and Puget Sound all in one fairly level ride. Free pictures too. REI & Fairhaven Bike Club will be available for free safety checks and *quick* repairs (parts are at your expense). Motorcycles will be cruising the routes to make sure all are safe. Trucks are on call to pick up anyone needing a lift. $10 surcharge for day-of registrations so please register online. Beautiful ride for a great cause! Celebrate in Fairhaven after.

In 2010 we had 936 riders and raised over $20,000 for charities! This is above and beyond the pledges that went directly to the "charity of your choice" for each rider. The largest benefactor was The Bike Shop which is a non-profit that teaches low income kids how to work on bikes and takes these kids on longer bike rides. The Bike Shop provides a bike to kids that need one. But only after they work on it and demonstrate some responsibility. Please check out this great cause.

If you did not pick up your picture at the race they will be available for pickup at Fairhaven Bike & Ski in the afternoon on Sunday July 31, 2011.
