About the Tour
The rides are awesome! You get to see everything: Mt Baker, Lake Whatcom, valleys, rivers, lush farmland, beaches and Puget Sound all in one fairly level ride. Free pictures too. We will have a special Tour deWhatcom backdrop located in the Bellingham Farmer's Market in front of Boundary Bay Brewery. You can either take your picture with your own camera, or we can take it and send it to you via Facebook. Motorcycles will be cruising the routes to make sure all are safe. Trucks are on call to pick up anyone needing a lift. $10 surcharge for day-of registrations so please register online. Beautiful ride for a great cause! Celebrate in Bellingham after your great ride.
The past two years, Tour de Whatcom has given away $30,000 to non-profits. This is above and beyond the pledges that went directly to the "charity of your choice" for each rider. In 2015, the beneficiary of your ride will be the WMBC-Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition. Read more about them on our 2014 Charity Page.
